20 Years of Maputo Protocol: Celebratory Publications Faculty of Law UON & Centre for Human Rights -University of, Pretoria

On Thursday, July 13th 2023, The Faculty of Law at the University of Nairobi and the Centre for Human Rights at the University of Pretoria jointly launched two publications at the Parklands Campus. This event marked the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Protocol to the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights on the Rights of Women in Africa, also known as the Maputo Protocol.

Dr. Constance Gikonyo Appointed as Member of the Capital Markets Tribunal

Cabinet Secretary National Treasury & Economic Planning Njuguna Ndung’u has appointed Dr. Constance Gikonyo together with other members as Members of the Capital Markets Tribunal, to serve a period of 3-years with effect from the April 20, 2023.

Lawyer Adrian Kamotho was appointed as the new chairperson. National Treasury Cabinet Secretary in a Gazette Notice dated April 20 made his appointment.
