Monica Malith, is the 5th UNSA Chairperson

Monica Malith, a third-year international student at the Faculty of Law, will lead the University of Nairobi Students’ Association.

On Friday, March 22, 2023, students successfully cast their votes online through an electronic ballot for the Faculty and Campus Students Association teams. On Saturday, March 25, 2023, 39 electors from all 13 electoral colleges cast their votes for the Students' Council.

The Faculty of Law, the UON Law Students Professional Association (UONLSPA) and the Cohesion and National Values Committee chaired by Dr. Kenneth Wyne Mutuma, its patron, has organized a series of monthly public lectures on legal topics to be delivered by distinguished legal practitioners in various areas in the justice sector.

University of Nairobi Faculty of Law Students Shine at Strathmore’s Inaugural Tax Law Hackathon 

Mercy Cheptoo, Kibet Brian and Musikoyo Elly Keanes, who are our final-year students, are the winners of the Inaugural Strathmore Tax Law Hackathon. The competition required students to come up with innovative and equitable methods of taxing professional services and the digital economy.  The team also emerged as the second runner up in the best presentation category.

2023 UNSA Elections

The Independent Electoral Commission has announced UNSA elections of Faculties and Campus Association teams will be on 24th March 2023 In accordance with the provisions of Article 16 (1)& (2) of the UNSA Constitution. Please take note and come out and vote!
