The University of Nairobi, in partnership with the Judiciary of Kenya, hosted the 2nd Employment and Labour Relations Annual Symposium and Exhibition (ELRASE - 2) on September 16, 2024, This year's event, themed “The Role of the Employment and Labour Relations Court in Fostering the Right to a World of Work Free from Violence and Harassment,” gathered leading stakeholders from the judiciary, government, labor organizations, and academia to delve into one of the most critical issues of the modern workplace: the elimination of violence and harassment.

The University of Nairobi Faculty of law  hosted a groundbreaking Climate Justice Workshop, focusing on climate change mitigation, adaptation, and compensation. The event, held on September 5th, 2024, brought together researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss sustainable approaches to climate action and explore the complex interplay between climate change strategies and social justice.

The University of Nairobi's Faculty of Law welcomed the Class of 2028 with an inspiring address from the Dean Prof. Winfred Kamau, setting the tone for the transformative journey that lies ahead for the new students. The University of Nairobi's Faculty of Law has once again demonstrated its excellence on the continental stage, securing an impressive runner-up position at the 33rd Christof Heyns African Human Rights Moot Court Competition held in Kigali, Rwanda from July 22-27, 2024.
