Speaking during the preparations for the exams, the Director CASELAP, Dr. Collins Odote explained the steps and measures the Centre had undertaken in ensuring the exams were conducted successfully. All the secretaries were sensitized on how to operate google drive, they were also provided with a reliable internet connection to allow them to receive and type the exams.  A secure email address from CASELAP exam centre was also created to ensure the exams were secure.

Throughout this pandemic though, there have been countless stories of hope in humanity. Nurses, doctors, clinical officers and community health workers are risking their lives in order to save the world. Citizens, rich and poor have rallied together to contribute to the Covid-19 fund kitty set up by the government. Thousands are self-isolating in order to prevent spread of the disease in the communities. These are signs of hope and proof that we are all together in it.

A team of experts from the University of Nairobi has drafted several legislative proposals to aid government in the management of global pandemic Covid-19.

We are facing a public health crisis that has never been witnessed before in the history of the modern world.  Like a whirlwind, Covid-19 struck the world so fast no one seems to understand what it is that is happening.  In a single, ominous strike COVID-19 has killed thousands, shut down economies, rendered millions jobless and overseen closure of schools. Practically, COVID-19 has completely disrupted all spheres of our lives in ways we couldn’t ever have imagined before.
