IDS to Celebrate 55th Founding Day with Conference Series

The Institute for Development Studies (IDS), University of Nairobi, will celebrate its 55-year Anniversary with a series of conferences that will feature presentations by leading scholars and researchers on development issues.

New Semester Classes Commence

Prof Gabrielle Lynch Discusses Failures of Transitional Justice Mechanisms

The transitional justice mechanisms following the 2007/2008 post-election violence in Kenya did not live up to their expectations.

This was revealed by Prof Gabrielle Lynch in a seminar presentation hosted by the Institute for Development Studies.
