Remote learning is not a new phenomenon at the University of Nairobi. For more than five years, several undergraduate and postgraduate courses have been offered remotely through the Open, Distance and eLearning Campus.
Prof. Attiya Waris will be part of a panel discussion on the effect of COVID-19 on the banking and finance sector globally, and how we can draw lessons from different parts of the world in making financial services more accessible to people in the post-COVID world.

School of Law doctoral student Muthomi Thiankolu was never going to let the coronavirus pandemic stop him from completing his PhD. On July 21, 2020, he successfully presented his defense to the Board of Examiners panel chaired by School of Law Dean, Prof. Kiarie Mwaura.
Prof. Albert Mumma has been conferred the rank of Senior Counsel by H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Prof. Mumma, a PhD in Law holder from Cambridge University, Master of Law from Yale University and Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Nairobi was conferred the rank of senior counsel alongside 24 other advocates including former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka.
