The transitional justice mechanisms following the 2007/2008 post-election violence in Kenya did not live up to their expectations.

This was revealed by Prof Gabrielle Lynch in a seminar presentation hosted by the Institute for Development Studies.  

History was made when a record 2,851 graduands were conferred with degrees and diplomas at a first ever virtual graduation ceremony at the University of Nairobi.
