University of Nairobi Moves to Online Classes amid COVID-19 Pandemic

In response to the widening Coronavirus pandemic, the University of Nairobi has moved face to face classes online.

While communicating to staff and students during closure of the university on March 16, Vice Chancelor, Prof. Stephen Kiama said, “The supervision of postgraduate students and learning of students registered for open and distance learning shall continue to be managed through online platforms.”

School of Business Host Summer School Programme

Department of Management Science hosted a Summer School programme. The Summer School is a collaboration between Rwanda and Kenya that promote social enterprises and pursue social or ecological goals while striving for financial independence. Both Rwanda and Kenya are among Africa’s most dynamic economies and exhibit strong economical growth (Afdb, 2019) however both countries are subject to challenges that could overcome through social enterprises.
