The University of Nairobi Faculty of Law continues to assert its dominance in Kenya's legal education landscape as students from the Parklands campus secured multiple victories at the prestigious Natural Justice Moot Court Competition held at Riara University between October 17-19th 2024.

In a remarkable display of legal acumen and oratory excellence, the Faculty's teams not only successfully defended their titles from the previous year but also demonstrated exceptional prowess across various categories of the competition.

Leading the triumph was the respondents' team comprising Max Ayaga and Kelvin Nyaribo, who emerged as the overall winners of the moot competition. Their victory was particularly noteworthy as it helped the Faculty retain its championship status for the second consecutive year.

The competition witnessed outstanding individual performances from several UoN law students. Max Ayaga secured the Best Male Oralist award, while Joy Mueke was recognized as the Best Female Oralist, showcasing the Faculty's commitment to nurturing well-rounded legal advocates.

In the research category, the Faculty's representatives exhibited exceptional scholarly capabilities. Patience Kathambi distinguished herself by securing both the first runners-up position in the Best Researcher category and clinching the award for the Best Research Paper on the Ethical and Legal Debate on GMOs for Climate Change Solutions. Angela Mburu added to the Faculty's accolades by emerging as the second runners-up in the Best Researcher category.

These achievements reflect the Faculty's dedication to maintaining high standards in legal education and moot court participation.
