Faculty of Law Students Organization of Law and Diplomacy members (SOLAD) had the privilege of hosting the Ambassador of Costa Rica to Kenya and Permanent Representative to UNEP and UN-habitat, H.E Mrs. Giovanna Valverde Stark and her delegation on Thursday 8th April 2022.

The Ambassador addressed the SOLAD members on foreign relations between Costa Rica and Kenya, recommendations on climate change negotiations for Kenya and Africa, the role of students in diplomacy, and the prospective partnerships SOLAD will have with the Embassy in terms of internships and exchange programs.

This event was organized by Pressy Akinyi, the chairperson of SOLAD, together with the Vice Chairperson Charles Omondi and Co-ordinated by Associate Dean Dr. Akunga and the acting patron Mr. Oloo.
