Cabinet Secretary National Treasury & Economic Planning Njuguna Ndung’u has appointed Dr. Constance Gikonyo together with other members as Members of the Capital Markets Tribunal, to serve a period of 3-years with effect from the April 20, 2023.

Lawyer Adrian Kamotho was appointed as the new chairperson. National Treasury Cabinet Secretary in a Gazette Notice dated April 20 made his appointment.

Capital Markets ACT is an Act of Parliament to establish a Capital Markets Authority for the purpose of promoting, regulating and facilitating the development of an orderly, fair and efficient capital market in Kenya and for connected purposes. Its mandate includes hearing and determining appeals arising from the capital markets.
