faculty of law orientation

The Faculty conducted an orientation exercise to welcome the new class of 2025 to Parkland Campus. Over 600 students were admitted to the faculty

Speaking during the exercise, the Dean Faculty of Law congratulated the new students on their admission. she noted' You are indeed a privileged group, made up of the brightest and best minds.  Do celebrate your achievement! Please also take a moment to reflect on where you have come from; who has helped you along the way; what sacrifices have been made to get you where you are.

the dean also highlighted some of the  illustrious alumni  spread throughout the globe and  who have made huge contributions to society in Kenya, the region and around the world, whether in legal practice, judiciary, public service, corporate sector, civil society, international organisations and academia. It is notable that the current Chief Justice, Attorney General and Speaker of the National Assembly, among other key personalities, are all our alumni.

the students were also encouraged to seek other experiences beyond the classroom like joining student clubs s and activities including moots, debating, drama, sports; legal clinics, spiritual nurture, mentorship, law journals. Our students have consistently excelled in moots and have won many international and regional competitions, including the All Africa, Jessup Moot, Stetson Moot Competitions. In 2020, the School of Law Drama Society emerged the winners in the National Drama and Film festival. Make the most of these opportunities - you may be the next Ferdinand Omanyala
