Associate Dean, Prof. Collins Odote has been appointed to the board of Kenya National Innovation Agency (KeNIA) for a period of 3 years effective 10th June 2022. Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Education Prof. George Magoha made the appointment

KeNIA was set up to develop and manage the national innovation system. KeNIA strengthens interrelationships between actors in order to promote innovation and enterprise development out of research and ideas. The agency also works with partners to ensure appropriate prioritization, relevant capacity development, innovation recognition, and to strengthen interrelationships between actors in order to promote innovation and enterprise development out of research and ideas.

Prof. Odote was appointed together with four other members to the board and Prof Tom Peter Migun Ogada being appointed as the Chairperson of the board.
