Giving students rewards for their efforts shows that their hard work is appreciated. This is a powerful mindset that encourages students to celebrate their milestones and achievements.

In this regard, the University held a student’s Recognition award ceremony and awarded over 800 outstanding students in academic, talent, research and publications, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Corporate Social Responsibility, Leadership, Volunteerism and Sports and Games on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Taifa Hall.

The Vice Chancellor Prof. Kiama congratulated all the awardees noting ‘’ Through these prizes, the University appreciates and lauds you for your dedication to the cause, hard work and discipline, perseverance, as well as the willingness to go an extra mile in order to deliver nothing but the best. Your sterling performance also demonstrates desirable attributes of character building and a solid foundation for growth in the fields that you will pursue going forward.

The Vice Chancellor also gave a honorable mention two FOL students who had performed exemplary in various competitions .Lennox Kirianki who emerged as the best mediator at the 2023 Conflict Prevention and Resolution International Mediation Competition held in Brazil; and Brian Kibet was voted as the best orator when his team of three from the Faculty of Law won the Strathmore Tax Law Hackathon.

Over 40 students from the faculty of law were awardees of the various categories. Congratulations once again to all the award recipients.
