The Faculty of Law at the University of Nairobi invites you to participate in our Hackathon as part of the Nairobi Innovation Week 2024.

What is the Hackathon about?

In preparation for the Nairobi Innovation Week 2024, we are organizing a Faculty-based Hackathon aimed at fostering innovation and problem-solving in the field of law. The Hackathon provides a platform for students and staff to develop groundbreaking ideas that can transform the legal landscape and contribute to societal progress.

Why participate?

The goal of our Hackathon is to empower participants to become job creators rather than job seekers. By engaging in this event, you will have the opportunity to:

- Cultivate your innovation and problem-solving skills within the legal domain.
- Collaborate with peers and experts to develop impactful solutions.
- Showcase your creativity and ingenuity on a prestigious platform.
- Stand a chance to compete in the final Nairobi Innovation Week competition.

Who can participate?

The Hackathon is open to:

- University of Nairobi students (both undergraduates and postgraduates) from all disciplines.
- Academic and non-academic staff members of the University of Nairobi.

- Application call open: March 8th, 2024
- Clarification/Q&A Session: March 11th, 2024 at 4:00 pm  Clarification/Q&A  meeting link
- Application Call Closes: March 14th, 2024
- Announcement of selected teams: March 17th, 2024
- Hackathons: March 19th to 21st, 2024
- Nairobi Innovation Week 2024: May 8th to 10th, 2024
