UoN Hosts PhD Supervisors Workshop to Strengthen Research Excellence

From February 4 to 6, 2025, the Faculties of Law  and Health Sciences convened a PhD supervisors workshop at the University Towers. The event, officially opened by Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics), Prof. Ayub Gitau, brought together faculty members, supervisors, and key academic leaders to discuss best practices in PhD supervision, mentorship, and research excellence.

FOL Students with Visual Impairments Empowered with Assistive Technology

A major breakthrough was marked at the Faculty of Law on 30th Janury 2025 as 10 visually impaired law students received MacBook laptops from inABLE Kenya. This initiative, made possible through UoN’s collaboration with inABLE Kenya aims to enhance accessibility by providing customized features that support learning and navigation challenges.

University of Nairobi Marks Historic Book Launch in Criminal Law

The Faculty of Law marked a historic achievement on November 29th with the launch of Criminal Law in Kenya, a groundbreaking publication authored by Dr. Juliet Amenge and Dr. Evelyne Asala. The event brought together a distinguished audience of legal scholars, practitioners, university leaders, and students to celebrate this seminal work in Kenyan legal scholarship.
